Through education, prevention, and counseling, we heal and strengthen a community still troubled by alarming rates of new HIV infection, especially among young minority women. We empower at-risk and HIV+ youth to end stigma and stop the spread of STIs for themselves and their communities. Our ground-up, public health approach takes root in schools, fairs, churches, and other trusted institutions. Our workshops and other curricula are specifically designed for for African-American and Latina youth by members of their community. Youth explore behavioral and socio-economic factors related to healthy sexuality, including preventing teen pregnancy, HIV and other STIs in a confidential, safe environment.
